1. Requests you can make
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we process data connected to identifiers you provide;
- give you access to or a portable copy of eligible data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete or de-identify eligible data;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent for future optional analytics or advertising measurement; or
- review a decision and provide information about applicable appeal or complaint options.
You can also ask a general question without invoking a formal legal right.
2. How a no-account request is identified
RelyVPN does not use a traditional email login. An email address alone may not identify any app data. To locate the correct records and avoid disclosing them to someone else, provide only the identifiers relevant to your request:
- platform and RelyVPN device ID or secure ID shown in the app settings;
- license ID, if the request concerns an entitlement;
- store order ID, direct-payment order ID, or blockchain transaction hash, if the request concerns a purchase;
- support or community user ID, if the request concerns messages or uploaded content;
- approximate date, page, session, referral code, or campaign, if the request concerns website events.
3. Submit a request
- Email rely_support@relyvpn.com with the subject “RelyVPN privacy request.”
- State the request type: access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, consent withdrawal, or appeal.
- Provide the minimum identifiers listed above that are needed to locate the records.
- State your country or region so we can apply the correct response requirements.
- Describe the specific data or feature involved and the approximate date range.
4. Verification and response
We verify a request in proportion to its sensitivity. Verification can include confirming control of the relevant device, license, store receipt, direct order, support identity, or transaction. If we cannot reasonably connect the identifiers to a record, we will explain that rather than guessing.
We aim to acknowledge a request promptly and complete a verified request within 30 days. A different statutory deadline may apply. Where law permits an extension for a complex request, we will explain the reason and expected timing.
Privacy requests are normally free. We may charge a lawful reasonable fee or decline a request that is manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, fraudulent, or impossible to verify, and will explain the basis where required.
5. What deletion can affect
A verified deletion request can cover eligible device profile data, diagnostic records, website events, referral identifiers, support or community content, and license-device associations. We may delete the data, de-identify it so it can no longer reasonably be connected to you, or explain why a legal exception applies.
Deleting a license or license-device association can end paid access and may be irreversible. Tell us whether you want to delete technical data while preserving a valid entitlement, or to delete both, so we do not assume.
We may retain limited records when necessary for tax and accounting duties, payment reconciliation, fraud and security prevention, legal claims, compliance with a lawful order, or proof that a request was completed. Blockchain records and information controlled independently by Apple, Google, a payment provider, or another platform cannot be erased by RelyTech LLC.
Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove copies in routine backups. Those copies are handled through the applicable backup cycle and may be retained longer where law requires. If a backup is restored, we will reapply completed deletion requests where reasonably feasible.
6. Immediate privacy controls
- Use the website cookie preference control where displayed, or clear browser cookies and site storage.
- Review the Cookie and Tracking Policy for Google Analytics and referral-storage details.
- Use X's personalized-ad controls if you use X.
- Manage App Store information and purchase history through Apple, and Google Play information through Google, because those platforms independently control their records.
- Delete optional support or community content through available in-app controls, then contact us if assistance is needed.
8. Questions, appeals, and complaints
If you disagree with our response, reply to the same email and ask for review. You may also have the right to complain to the privacy or data-protection authority where you live. We will provide jurisdiction-specific information when applicable.
